Every Lightning Armory service works the same way: you order, you ship it to us with our prepaid label, we do the work, and we ship it back. No drop-offs and no trips to the shop.

Order online or get a quote
For pistol Cerakote, choose your parts and colors, and check out. Round-trip insured UPS shipping is included in your order. For everything else, tell us about your project, and we confirm the price and turnaround by email or text before you ship anything. Quoted work is paid by invoice before work begins.

Ship it in
We email you a prepaid, insured UPS label and packing instructions. You provide the box and hand it to UPS. See How to Ship Your Firearm.

We do the work
Most projects are finished within one week of arriving. If we find anything that needs extra work, we let you know the cost by email or text, and it must be paid before that work begins.

It comes home
We ship your finished item back to you by insured UPS, at the address on the ID you sent. Someone 21 or older must sign for it.
Good to know
- Shipping only. We do not take in-person drop-offs or pickups for service work.
- Send the complete pistol, even for slide-only or frame-only work, plus one empty magazine if magazines are not part of your order. Remove optics, lights, and other removable accessories unless they are part of your order.
- Choose your color before you ship. We stock more than 200 Cerakote colors. A color we have to order adds two to three days.
- Every pistol Cerakote price includes full disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, surface prep, the coating, a final clean and lubrication, reassembly, and a function check (no live fire). See prices.

Buying a firearm instead?
Have it shipped to Lightning Armory for an FFL transfer, and pick it up at our Bastrop, Texas shop by appointment.
