You pay the transfer fee now. When the item arrives and is logged in, we email you (and call, for expedited transfers) to set a pickup appointment. Pickup is by appointment only. Bring the same Texas driver license or ID you upload here, plus your Texas License to Carry if you have one, to complete ATF Form 4473 in person. A valid Texas License to Carry takes the place of the NICS background check.

Items that arrive without a completed transfer order are blind transfers, charged at $69.99 per serialized firearm at pickup. See FFL transfers for full details and policies.

Upload a clear photo or scan (JPG, PNG, HEIC, or PDF, up to 10 MB). Your documents are stored privately, seen only by Lightning Armory staff and used only to process your transfer. Bring the same ID to pickup. If you hold a valid Texas License to Carry, upload it too: it takes the place of the NICS background check.
